US-based FinalCode launched its enterprise file security system yesterday with $6m of funding from Japan-based enterprise software provider Digital Arts, Dow Jones has reported.
FinalCode’s CryptoEase software provides a streamlined file security and encryption process that does not need users to remember passwords. It also enables users to remotely delete files on devices in order to prevent leaks.
The company reportedly plans to spend the funding, which will be provided in two tranches, on research and development, expanding its marketing and enterprise sales, and business development.
