Glossier, a US-based cosmetics brand backed by talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME), has raised $24m in a series B round led by IVP with participation from Index Ventures.
Glossier produces skincare and make-up products as well as merchandise. The company emerged out of lifestyle blog Into the Gloss in 2014.
The latest funding round will go towards technology investment, the launch of new products and the opening of permanent retail locations. The company will also expand internationally.
WME contributed to a $8.4m series A round in November 2014 that was led by Thrive Capital, with additional participation by 14W, Toms Capital, Manzanita Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Lerer Hippeau Ventures and angel investors David Tisch of early-stage fund Box Group, Jay Brown and Andy Dunn.
In September 2014, Forerunner and Lerer Hippeau provided $2m in seed capital.
