Agile Energy, a US-based developer of utility-scale renewable power generating projects, has raised $24m from quasi-corporate venturing group Good Energies Capital.
Good Energies, which invests on behalf of the Brenninkmeijer family that runs clothing chain C&A, has now invested $37m in Agile.
John Breckenridge, who leads Good Energies Capital, said: "Solar energy will be a significant part of the future generation mix as we move towards a cleaner and more secure energy future in the US."
