Google Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of the US-based search engine, and other early stage investors have reportedly invested in the $600,000 seed round for Just.me, a social network.
Just.me was founded by Keith Teare, who also helped set up news provider TechCrunch, TechCrunch said.
Google was joined by venture firms True Ventures, SV Angel, Betaworks and Four Horsemen, as well as Don Dodge, a Google venture executive, Patrick Gannon, strategic planning manager at US-based bank Wells Fargo, Michael Parekh, a managing director at US-based bank Goldman Sachs, Steve McArthur, and Michael Arrington, another TechCrunch founder, in the seed round, TechCrunch said.
