Google looks to Clarifai with latest investment

Google Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of internet company Google, has invested an undisclosed sum in US-based deep learning technology developer Clairifai, according to technology news website Wired.

Clarifai’s technology revolves around digital visual searches, enabling users to find photographs more easily online. Another seed investor in the company is Max Krohn, the co-founder of dating website OKCupid.
