Unit21, the US-based creator of a no-code compliance software development platform, has received $13m from investors including Gradient Ventures, the artificial intelligence-focused fund formed by internet technology provider Google.
Venture capital firm A.Capital Ventures led the round, which also featured Core VC, South Park Commons and angel investors Diane Greene, William, Chris Britt, Ryan King, Sumit Agarwal and Michael Vaughan.
Founded in 2018, Unit21 has developed a software platform that allows businesses to develop applications to detect risks such as fraud or money laundering. Trisha Kothari, Unit21’s co-founder and CEO, said: “We have experienced incredible growth of over 400% this year.
“Our no-code/low-code approach enables our customers to model risk, instead of struggling to get into engineering roadmaps. We are excited to have numerous titans of the technology industry support us in this journey.”
