Heico buys 3D Plus

New York-listed technology company Heico has agreed to acquire 3D Plus, a designer and manufacturer of three-dimensional microelectronic and stacked memory products used predominantly in satellites, from its corporate venturing backers for an undisclosed amount.

Innovacom, the corporate venturing unit of phone operator France Telecom, and Thales Corporate Ventures (with a previously reported 15% holding) are among the owners of 3D Plus, which had raised €3.7m in October 2002.

The sale follows December’s purchase by Drimki of Innovacom portfolio company Refleximmo.
