Intel Capital said it was on track to invest more than $500m in 2015, as it revealed $22m in deals across 10 startups.
The companies backed were US-based mobile services company FreedomPop, US-based data-over-audio company LISNR, Israel-based high speed modem company Sckipio, UK-based addressing platform What3words, US-based body shape information company Body Labs, Taiwan-based internet of things company Microprogram Information, China-based imaging and video technology company Perfant Technology, UK-based wireless charging network Chargifi, US-based laser systems company KMLabs, battery company Prieto Battery, and Tel Aviv-based predictive analytics company Parallel Machines.
The deals were announced after Arvind Sodhani gave his final public appearance as head of Intel Capital, before handing over to incoming head Wendell Brooks.
