CrowdWorks, a Japan-based website matching engineers with entrepreneurs, has raised Y300m ($4m) from a consortium including trading company Itochu’s corporate venturing unit.
Alongside Itochu Technology Ventures in the round were venture capital firms Digital Garage, and Suneight Investment.
The service was launched on March 21 and more than 2,000 contractees have used it posting orders of more than Y660m.
