Jitterbit fits itself into $20m series B

Jitterbit, the US-based cloud integration platform backed by cloud computing firm Salesforce.com and design software provider Autodesk, has obtained $20m in a series B round led by investment firm KKR.

Jitterbit operates a platform dubbed Harmony that helps businesses integrate cloud-based applications with legacy IT systems. The money will be used to grow the company’s market share, further develop Harmony and create new products. Jitterbit plans to hire additional staff across all departments.

Vincent Letteri, a director in KKR’s technology, media and telecommunications team, will join Jitterbit’s board of directors in conjunction with the round.

Jitterbit previously raised an undisclosed amount in a 2012 series A round featuring Salesforce, Autodesk and Primera Capital. It has also formed strategic partnerships with the two corporates.

George Gallegos, chief executive of Jitterbit, said: “This investment jumpstarts a new era for Jitterbit as we grow to meet the expanding demands of companies around the world that need to connect legacy IT with new applications that are powering the modern digital economy.

“We are excited to partner with KKR to take the company to the next level and deliver innovative solutions designed to help professionals in any industry achieve more with technology.”
