Singapore-based co-working space operator JustCo has partnered venture capital firm Trive Ventures to launch an incubator aimed at early-stage startups in the country, Tech in Asia has reported.
Trive Labs will target entrepreneurs who have received more than S$20,000 ($14,700) in funding or an SG Founders Grant from the Sinagporean government with Trive as their accredited mentor.
The nine-month long scheme will provide qualified startup entrepreneurs with access to hot desking at JustCo Lab, a co-working facility housed in downtown Singapore.
Participating startups will gain support, resources and mentorship as well as the ability to meet JustCo’s community of members, which range from small and medium-sized enterprises to Fortune 500 firms.
Members will also be able to access flexible workspaces, business services and workshops, and will be invited to exclusive events and networking functions. Trive Labs is almost fully subscribed and is targeting companies with a ‘defensible tech slant’ and are looking to expand regionally.
Kong Wan Sing, JustCo’s founder and CEO, was quoted by AllWork as saying: “The JustCo community is a large melting pot of like-minded businesses and individuals with different expertise and resources from varied industries, providing Trive startups a platform to easily find networking and collaboration opportunities and drive success to each other’s businesses.”
