Kirill Kozhevnikov has ended a four-year stint at Sistema Asia Fund, a corporate venturing unit operated by Russia-based conglomerate Sistema, to join venture capital firm RTP Global as a partner.
In his new role, Kozhevnikov will work on expanding the firm’s India portfolio through early and mid-stage investments.
At Sistema Asia Fund, most recently as managing director, Kozhevnikov was involved in deals in sectors such as healthcare and life sciences, artificial intelligence and machine learning, enterprise software and education technology.
Kozhevnikov worked on Sistema’s investments in portfolio companies including gift card platform Qwikcliver, online pharmacy Netmeds and health and fitness platform HealthifyMe.
Prior to joining Sistema Asia Fund in 2014, Kozhevnikov worked for VC fund AMC Investments. He had previously mentored startups and entrepreneurs during a two-year spell at Early Stage Enterprises and executed M&A opportunities as an associate director at ABN Amro Bank.
