Vincent Martel has joined Inerjys Ventures, a $1bn renewable energy utility and private equity firm, as a partner to help sell its portfolio companies to trade buyers.
Martel will lead investments into renewable energy technology companies and advise portfolio companies on exit strategy having previously spent nine years as a strategic investor within large international corporations and two years providing advice to clients undertaking strategic investment, including France-based Areva.
Stephan Ouaknine (pictured), chief executive and managing partner of Inerjys, said: "Vincent’s perspective as a strategic investor at large multinationals will be invaluable as we position Inerjys portfolio companies for exits, and as Inerjys partners with these players on renewable energy projects."
Ouaknine set up Inerjys last year with a private equity investment arm, Inerjys Ventures, and a renewable energy utility and development arm, Inerjys Renewables.
