Israel-based real-time web personalisation company Dynamic Yield, has closed a $12m series B round from investors including media companies ProSiebenSat.1 and New York Times.
Other backers in the round include investment firms Bessemer Venture Partners, Innovation Endeavors and Marker. Bessemer and Innovation Endeavors previously invested in the company’s $2m series A round in April 2013.
Dynamic Yield has created a software-as-a-service product that examines the marketing goals of a company and the users of their system, and serves personalised advertisements that respond to them.
“With Dynamic Yield, clients can seamlessly deliver a personalised experience to every single visitor on their website,” said Liad Agmon, chief executive of Dynamic Yield. “They experience an uplift as high as 100% in conversion rates and revenues as a result. These are real numbers they can point to, and who doesn’t want to point to increased revenue?”
The investment will be used to expand the company’s platform and open new offices in Germany.
