Montage, a US-based company that creates technology to allow potential candidates to be remotely interviewed by video, has closed a $6m series C financing round from private equity firms Beringea, which led the round, and GCI, as well as Calumet Venture Fund.
Montage previously raised $4m from a January 2013 round featuring Foley Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of law firm Foley, as well as Beringea, GCI, Calumet and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Baird also contributed to a $3m round in 2011.
This latest round brings Montage’s total funding to date to approximately $13.3m. The company plans to use the money to drive global expansion plan and enhance its video interviewing technology.
Kurt Heikkinen, chief executive of Montage, said: “The success of our approach is evident in the growing number of clients entrusting Montage with their video interviewing strategy. This additional funding underscores the market opportunity and our winning position as a leader in this space.”
