NTT Investment Partners, a corporate venturing unit of Japan-based phone operator Nippon Telegraph & Telephone (NTT), has invested Y70m ($900,000) in Alfredcore, a local software-as-a-service provider.
The investment came a month after D2 Communications, a mobile advertising and marketing subsidiary of NTT and media group Dentsu, bought 350 new shares from Alfredcore.
D2C and Alfredcore plan to develop new web services and social network services by leveraging Alfredcore’s video streaming technologies and high development capabilities.
