Outfittery, a Germany-based curated, menswear ecommerce startup, raised €13m ($17.9m) funding in February led by venture capital firm Highland Capital Partners and including publisher Georg von Holtzbrinck Publishing’s former corporate venturing unit Holtzbrinck Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners, state- and corporate-backed investment firm High-Tech Gründerfonds, RI Digital Ventures, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and Kreativwirtschaft Berlin.
The funding will be used to grow and expand across European markets.
Outfittery was launched in 2012 by cofounders Anna Alex and Julia Bösch, and previously raised an estimated €5m ($6.9m) in January 2013.
Julia Bösch said: “Our goal is to become the leading portal in the whole of Europe for curated shopping in the men’s fashion sector.”
