Pie Digital, a US-based device networking company backed by Deutsche Telekom’s corporate venturing unit, has raised $8m.
Pie Digital is also backed by venture firm Foundry Group, according to a prior article by news provider VentureBeat.

Last year Pie Digital raised $1.2m of a planned $4m round, according to a filing with US regulator Securities and Exchange Commission.
In 2010, it raised $3.7m of a planned $6m round, and $6m of a planned $7.6m round, according to two separate SEC filings.
In 2008 it raised $8.6m of a planned $10.1m round, according to another filing.
