Internet company Avos has exited Woomoo, the Taiwan-based developer of app prototyping tool Pop, through an acquisition by travel deal finder Priceline for an undisclosed sum, TechCrunch reported today.
Woomoo launched Pop, which enables users to generate a working prototype of an app from hand-drawn sketches of its user interface, in 2012. A photograph of the sketch is enough for Pop to put together a tappable demo.
The company had raised approximately $750,000 from Avos, which invested in 2013, as well as Amino Capital, Golden Gate Ventures and 500 Startups, according to TechCrunch. Its team will relocate to Bangkok to develop apps for Priceline’s local hotel room booking platform, Agoda.
