Joshua Pulman has been promoted to senior vice president at Truist Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of US bank Truist Financial, after two years as senior associate of strategic investments.
Before joining Truist Financial, Pulman worked in corporate strategy for almost a year at financial services company Wells Fargo. Previously, he worked in the product strategy division at AI-based art market services provider Arthena for three years.
Formed in 2020, Truist Ventures focuses on financial services and technology and has 13 active portfolio companies including Apiture, GoTab and Greenlight. It has scored three exits – Finxact, nCino and Payrailz – and backed funds such as Aperture VC, Canapi Ventures, Future Perfect Ventures and Pantera.
