China-based technology company Qihoo 360 has backed Vivame, which publishes China-based mobile phone magazine Viva Mobile Magazine, according to news provider Marbridge Daily. The investment was valued at more than RMB100m ($16m), TechWeb said.
Venture firms Highland Capital and Ventech also participated in the round, Marbridge Daily said.
Zhou Hongwei, chief executive of Qihoo, has become a director of Viva, TechWeb added.
