Housing.com, an India-based company that provides a map interface for buying or renting a house in India, has closed a Rs 1.15bn ($19m) investment round that saw participation from Qualcomm Ventures, the investment arm of US-based telecommunications company Qualcomm, the Economic Times has reported.
Nexus Venture Partners also took part in the round along with Helion Venture Partners. Helion previously participated in a $12m round for Housing.com in April 2014, while Nexus provided $2.5m for its June 2013 seed round.
Housing.com has grown rapidly since it was formed in 2012 and now lists over 2,000 new houses per day on its site. The latest investment valued the company at approximately Rs 3bn ($49.8m).
