Israel-based venture capital fund Remagine Ventures has raised $35m in capital from limited partners including mobile marketing technology producer Adways and media groups Axel Springer and ProSiebenSat.1, TechCrunch has reported.
Merchant bank and investment firm American Liontree also contributed to the fund, adding to $4m provided by media company Sky in September 2018.
Remagine concentrates on entertainment technology developers and tends to invest at seed and pre-seed stage. It has built up a six-strong portfolio that includes digital sports media platform Minute Media and visual-search system developer Syte.
In addition to the backers named by TechCrunch, Remagine’s website also lists communication platform developer Freenet, outdoor advertising firm Stroer and advertising agency FutureTV as partners.
