Renewable Energy Group, backed by corporates including Ares Corporation, Bunge, West Central Cooperative and ED&R Man Holdings, has filed to raise $100m in its flotation.
Renewable Energy Group said on its website it was the largest biodiesel producer "with a nationwide distribution and logistics system".
It is unclear how much capital the company has raised but when it spun off from its former parent energy company, West Central Cooperative, it raised $100m, according to its Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
West Central, agribusiness company Bunge, software company ARES Corporation, commodities provider ED&R Man Holdings as well as private equity firms NGP Energy Technology Partners, USRG Holdco V have a more than 5% stake in the company
Bookrunners to the flotation are UBS Investment Bank, Piper Jaffray, Stifel Nicolaus Weisel and Canaccord Genuity.
