Russian state-owned energy provider Rosatom has partnered Skolkovo Foundation, the owner of research centre Russian Skolkovo Innovation Center, to launch a startup contest called Vector.
Vector will be open to startups developing digital platforms, robotics, power and energy systems, clean water and materials technologies, and Rosatom will work with the finalists.
Rosatom will provide up to RUB300,000 ($5,000) in funding to five contest winners through its corporate venturing unit, while Skolkovo will award grants of up to RUB5m.
