Scoot & Doodle, a US-based social network for students’ creative projects, has raised $2.25m in its seed round from a consortium of local angel investors and UK-listed media group Pearson.
Christine Egy Rose, chief executive of Scoot & Doodle, said: “With the support of our investors and Pearson, we’ll reach students, teachers and families through their unparalleled distribution to the K-20 [US education] community.”
