Canada-based content engagement platform Scribble has received $12m in a series C round from investors including Rogers Venture Partners, the corporate venturing arm of communication services provider Rogers Communications.
Investment fund Waterloo Innovation Network Fund, venture capital firms Georgian Partners and Summerhill Venture Partners, and export credit agency Export Development Canada also took part in the round.
Scribble provides brands and media companies with content engagement software, and will utilise the funding to acquire other companies. Rogers Ventures previously invested in both its $4m series A round in 2011, and a subsequent $8m series B round in June 2013.
Vincent Mifsud, chief executive of Scribble, said: “We are a fast growing, cash-flow positive business and we see tremendous opportunity in the market. We welcomed this round of funding as it allows us to further accelerate our growth, providing resources to open new international offices and make strategic acquisitions.”
