India-based logistics services provider TrucksFirst has raised Rs 618m ($9.7m) in a series A round featuring postal service Singapore Post, The Economic Times has reported.
The round also featured private equity firm SAIF Partners and angel investor Thomas Netzer, the travel, transport and logistics director at management consulting firm McKinsey.
TrucksFirst provides technology and operational processes to co-ordinate long-haul, intercity deliveries, aiming to increase efficiencies and simplify drivers’ tasks.
The company will use the series A funding to support technology development, improve its back-end infrastructure and expand its team, an undisclosed investor told ET.
