US-based small business finance provider BlueVine has hired Ana Sirbu, formerly a manager at growth equity fund Google Capital, as its vice-president of finance and strategy.
Sirbu joined Google Capital, a subsidiary of internet and technology conglomerate Alphabet, in 2013 as a senior associate before moving up to a manager position the following year and leading its investments in the fintech sector.
In her new role, Sirbu will take charge of BlueVine’s financial management and growth strategy, including its debt capital financing operations. Prior to Google Capital, she was corporate development senior manager for UK-based online payment technology provider Skrill.
