Frank Starrmann has joined Innogy Venture Capital, the corporate venturing unit of Germany-based power company RWE, as its chief financial officer at the start of the month.
The move by Starrmann from his role as head of the asset management and upstream division at RWE Innogy Cogen, RWE Innogy’s biomass unit, will free up Aiwar Markow, who was in charge of this role in addition to his function as head of the finance and controlling division at RWE Innogy.
In addition, Crispin Leick (pcitured), operational managing director of RWE Innogy Venture Capital since August 2011, has relinquished the management of the strategy and ventures division at RWE Innogy, a function he had performed since RWE Innogy’s foundation in 2008.
The job moves follows the final closing of more than €100m ($130m) the Innogy Renewables Technology Fund I sponsored by RWE Innogy and Conetwork Erneuerbare Energien, an investment company of Lampe Bank Group focused on renewable energy generation.
