In an effort to shed light on how the corporate venturing industry operates, Global Corporate Venturing is currently working on a World of Corporate Venturing 2015 supplement, set to be the definitive guide to what groups are currently doing in the sector.
We have now tracked more than 1100 units, and are keen to reveal data on what they are doing by sector. We will accompany this with a survey, which is already building up some of the best data yet, after being sent out last week, on why organisations do corporate venturing and the returns in the industry. The more responses we receive, the greater statistical validity the survey will have.
So help the World of Corporate Venturing 2015 be as authoritative guide to the industry as possible by filling in our survey (which is anonymous). The survey also includes questions for our Year End and Outlook magazines in December and January (which is designed not to be anonymous, although do also comment and let us know if you want to remain private).
Fittingly this week sees the largest corporate venturing investor by investments made, Intel Capital, hold its Global Summit, and trade body, the NVCA host its Corporate Venture Summit. Do contact me on tlewis@globalcorporateventuring.com to meet up at either event, to discuss the World of Corporate Venturing or any of Global Corporate Venturing’s other activities.
