US-based mobile marketing firm Swrve has raised $10m in a series B round featuring Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of chipmaker Intel.
Venture capital firm Acero Capital led the round, which also included participation from private equity firm Atlantic Bridge.
Swrve is an in-app marketing platform that enables mobile product teams to optimise their applications and games. The funding will be used to accelerate its global expansion, improve its platform and to hire additional sales, marketing and engineering staff.
The company secured $6.3m in a series A round in 2012 from Intel and Atlantic Bridge, after raising $2.7m in seed funding in 2011 and $2.1m in angel funding in 2009 from investors including SV Angel and Mantis Group.
