Tabula Digital, a US-based maker of educational video games backed by publisher Pearson and chip maker Intel, has raised $2m.
In a regulatory filing first seen by news provider CityBizList, Tabula has now raised more than $20m.
Pearson joined the consortium in Tabula’s $4.7m series C round in April, which was led by Intel Capital and included venture capital firm Ascend Venture Group. The series B round closed at $6m in August 2008.
The company also partners with seeds company Monsanto’s philanthropic fund and the International Society for Technology in Education as well as Pearson.
