TaskEasy, a US-based provider of on-demand lawn maintenance and snow removal services, has closed a $22m series C round featuring power supply equipment producer Delta Electronics and real estate developer Berman Enterprises.
Growth equity firm River Cities Capital led the round, which included venture capital firms Grotech Ventures and Access Venture Partners, and VC fund and accelerator Moderne Ventures. The corporates took part through subsidiaries Delta Electronics Capital and Camber Creek.
TaskEasy has created an online platform that connects homeowners and property managers with contractors that provide lawn maintenance and snow removal services.
More than 5,000 small businesses have used the platform since it was launched in 2013 to book and complete more than 1 million tasks for customers across the US. The company plans to use the financing to fund growth and product development.
Delta Electronics Capital previously led TaskEasy’s $12m series B round in April 2016, investing alongside lawn equipment manufacturer MTD Products, Moderne Ventures, Grotech Ventures, Access Venture Partners and Kickstart Fund.
Grotech, Access and Kickstart funded the company’s $7m series A round in 2014, and KickStart was also among the investors in a 2012 seed round for TaskEasy that raised $2.6m.
Ken Davis, CEO of TaskEasy, said: “It has always been our mission to provide world-class services directly to consumers and property portfolio managers while helping reliable contractors build a sustainable business.
“With this funding we will be able to broaden our current product offering and enhance the customer experience, while making our contractors more efficient and more profitable.”
