US-based trade body Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the Association) and its accounting resources subsidiary, CPA.com, have selected three startups as winners of the 2019 cohort of their accelerator.
The Association and CPA launched the second batch of the scheme in October 2018, throwing open invitations to financial and education technology startups at the seed or pre-series A stage.
The three finalists are US-based accounting software developer Gappify, US-based communications platform operator Client Hub and Canada-based cash flow software provider Dryrun.
Each of the three will receive up to $25,000 in funding and the chance to present their companies at Aicpa Engage, a public accounting event taking place in June this year.
Erik Asgeirsson, president and CEO of CPA.com, said: “Early-stage technology companies are driving great innovation and new capabilities for the CPA profession.
“We got great feedback from our first class of companies last year, and we expect to build on our progress with this current group of innovative startups.”
