WSO2 confirms its $10m

WSO2, a.US-based enterprise software company, has confirmed it has raised $10m in its series C round from a consortium including technology companies Cisco Systems and Intel.

Venture capital firm Toba Capital led the round.

In December, WSO2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a third round investment of $10m.

WSO2’s clients include large corporates Cisco, GE, Kaiser, Fidelity, and eBay.

This latest round of funding brings the total capital raised by WSO2 to $20.5m. WSO2 raised $10.5m in venture round funding in 2006 and 2011. Intel Capital invested in the first two rounds.

The 2011 round was led by US-based software company Quest Software, which was bought by US-based personal computer maker Dell.
