Venture capital firm HighBar Partners has led an $11m series C round of funding into US-based Xangati, a provider of cloud and workload management solutions. Software maker Citrix Systems also participated.
Founder, chief technology officer and acting chief executive of Xangati, Jagan Jagannathan, said: “We are pleased to have raised $11 million from HighBar Partners with participation from Citrix. We plan to use the funding to further accelerate our innovation and market adoption.”
Roy Thiele-Sardina and John Kim, both managing partners at HighBar, will now join Xangati’s board.
This latest round brings the total raised by Xangati, since being founded in 2006, to $21.7m. In 2007 the company raised $10.7m in a B round from Walden International and Alloy Ventures
