US-based advertising web analytics company Yieldbot, which counts the investment arm of advertising agency KBS+P as one of its backers, has raised $18m in a series B round led by new investor SJF Ventures.
Other participants in the round included City National Bank, the California-based financial institution owned by the City National Corporation, and returning venture firms RRE Ventures, NAV Ventures and Common Angels.
Founded in 2010, Yieldbot captures and analyses real time web browsing data for online publishers in order to facilitate targeted advertising.
Yieldbot previously raised $5m in July 2013 and $4.2m in February 2012 as part of a series A round which saw participation from KBS+ Ventures, RRE Ventures, New Atlantic Ventures, CommonAngels, and Neu Venture Capital.
Since its first seed round in December 2010, in which the company received $1.2m, Yieldbot has raised approximately $28.4m in funding.
