China-based corporate training platform Yunxuetang has closed a $100m series D round backed by technology and quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group (SIG), 36Kr reported on Saturday.
Centurium Capital led the round while fellow private equity firm Yunfeng Capital also contributed funding.
Founded in 2011, Yunxuetang offers free and paid online classes available to anyone, and allows enterprise clients to provide dedicated training courses for their employees.
The company’s clients span a wide array of industries and range from small and medium-sized enterprises to established domestic brands such as ride hailing service Didi Chuxing and coffee retailer Luckin Coffee.
The series D funding will allow Yunxuetang to build out its content ecosystem and to improve its core platform.
Yunfeng Capital had previously led a $50m series C round for the company in late 2018 that also featured SIG. The latter investor had already led Yunxuetang’s $22m series B round the previous year, participating together with private investor Li Qi.
Undisclosed investors had supplied $11m in series A financing for Yunxuetang in 2014 and its overall funding now stands at $199m, according to CB Insights data cited by KrAsia.
