US-based headphones company Beats has reportedly bought music subscription company Mog, said to be backed by record companies Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Warner Music Group.
The headphones business set up by rapper Dr Dre has acquired Mog, according to news provider Business Insider.
Mog had previously raised an estimated $22m at the time of a $9.5m series E round, according to news provider Giga Om.
Its backers at that time included Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Warner Music Group as well as Balderton Capital and lead investor Menlo Ventures.
