Sebastian Peck has joined UK-based automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), taking the managing director position at its corporate venturing unit, InMotion.
JLR launched InMotion in April 2016 and uses it to invest in developers of mobility services and user experience technology developers. It also operates an accelerator that is boosted by the company’s resources and expertise.
Peck came from medical treatment access platform Health Bridge, where he was chief financial officer. He had previously been CFO and chief operating officer of scientific information and research provider Digital Science from 2010 to March 2016.
“Joining InMotion at this exciting time in its infancy is an unmissable opportunity,” he said. “The potential in the mobility services market is gigantic, and I am looking forward to speaking with entrepreneurs, startups and investors to explain what the fantastic team here has to offer.”
