US-based retailer Nordstrom has led the latest $16.4m round raised by online clothing store Bonobos

Nordstrom led the round, which was joined by venture capital firms Accel Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Nordstrom said it would sell Bonobos clothing at Nordstrom stores and on its website Nordstrom.com.

They are a pioneer in leveraging the Internet to build great relationships with their customers, a common focus of both organisations. Our investment with Bonobos will enable Nordstrom to participate in the young company’s phenomenal growth, and we look forward to what we can learn from each other as we build the business together."
