China-based urban design software developer XKool Technology has received tens of millions of dollars in a funding round co-led by SIG Capital, part of quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday.
Venture capital firm 5Y Capital co-led the round, which also featured Vision Knight Capital and Oriental Fortune Capital, according to a company statement cited by DealStreetAsia.
XKool provides cloud-based, artificial intelligence-equipped building intelligence modelling software for use in architectural design or urban planning, and its customers include major domestic real estate developers.
The company had previously raised an undisclosed amount of pre-series A funding from investors including Oriental Fortune Capital in 2018, and roughly $14m in an April 2020 series A round featuring Vision Knight Capital, Jinmao Ventures and Shanghai Chuang He.
